Congratulations to Emma Liu (14 yrs) and Audrey Chow (12 yrs) for breaking club records at the 2023 PSW Fall Invite. Emma Liu broke two 13-14 yrs Club record - 100 Freestyle record by 0.59s with a time of 57.12s. Old record was from Julia Strojnowska from 2021. Emma also broke the 100 Backstroke record by 1.35s with a time of 1:03.45s. Old record was by Delia Lloyd in 2021. Congratulations to CDSC Coaches for winning the 2023 BC Developmental Staff of the Year award for the 2022-2023 season! This award was selected by the BC Swim Coaches Association. Coaches Kelly Taitinger, Zachary Haw, Iain Reinboth, Khosro Mansuri, Jennika Efford, and Alex Duguay were named in this award. BC SUMMER PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RECAP CDSC RANKED 2ND PLACE OVERALL – BEST PLACING IN OVER A DECADE! The Canadian Dolphin Swim Club accomplished their best ever performance in over a decade in the recently concluded BC Provincial Championships which were from Thursday July 13th to Sunday July 16th at the UBC Aquatic Centre. BC WINTER PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RECAP CDSC RANKED 4TH PLACE OVERALL – BEST PLACING IN OVER A DECADE! The Canadian Dolphin Swim Club competed in the 2023 BC Winter Provincial Long Course Championships held at the Saanich Commonwealth Place in Victoria BC last Thursday March 2nd to Sunday March 5th. Mies Schootman Meet Review The Canadian Dolphins Swim Club hosted its annual Mies Schootman Invitational Swim Meet last weekend (January 20th to 22nd2023). Over 400 swimmers participated in the meet from various clubs in BC. A total of 107 swimmers from CDSC participated in the meet. During the meet, numerous accomplishments were done by CDSC Swimmers.
