Sharks Advanced Competitive Program
Swimmers in the advanced competitive program will further develop and refine their technique in the four strokes (freestyle, breaststroke, fly and back stroke) as well as work on their endurance and general physical fitness. Once again, to be successful in these squads, maximum commitment in attendance and effort are required.

Entry Requirements
- At the discretion of the Head Coach
- This group is intended for swimmers who are committed to competition and acquiring their personal best times at competitions.
Skills Acquired
- Emphasis will be on technical development and the refinement for all four strokes.
- Swimmers will further develop skills in race components (underwater kick, starts, turns and finishes)and slow to fast energy delivery through a systematic training plan.
- Balance, coordination, flexibility and strength through dry-land training
Time Commitment
- Tiger Sharks--135 mins, 5 times a week
- Tiger Sharks Plus—135 mins 5 times a week and 120 mins once a week
Meet Expectations
- Sanctioned competitions that the swimmer has qualifying times for.

- Swimmers will refine skills in race components

Time Commitment
- 6-8 times a week, 135 mins 5 times a week, 90 mins twice a week and 120 mins once a week
- Combination of morning and after school swims

- Sanctioned competitions that the swimmer has qualifying times for.
