The Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club is celebrating an impressive start to the 2025–2026 swim season, highlighted by an outstanding performance from Clara G., who broke a long-standing club record in her first meet of the year.

Competing in the 100-meter backstroke (short course), Clara posted an exceptional time of 1:04.61, surpassing the previous record of 1:04.75, held by Kendall H..

“This is an exciting achievement and a strong statement to start the season,” said the Head Coach of the Prince Albert Sharks Swim Club. “Clara’s focus and determination in training have clearly paid off, and we’re very proud of her accomplishment.”

The Sharks opened their competitive calendar with enthusiasm and high energy, showcasing strong performances from swimmers across all age groups. Clara’s record-breaking swim not only sets the tone for the season but also reflects the growing depth of talent within the club’s competitive program.
