Racing Into the Season — Best Times All Around at the NKB Fall Invitational
ROCS competed at the first meet of the season this past weekend, with our Junior and Senior groups racing at the NKB Fall Invitational. With 57 athletes at the meet, our swimmers competed 290 times and posted best times in 230 events, nearly 80% of the time!
The coaches were also very pleased with the camaraderie and positive vibes on deck from our swimmers. They were supportive of each other and we heard lots of cheering from our section of the bleachers. Despite a fire alarm delaying the first 12 and under session by 20 minutes, our swimmers kept their nerves in check and pushed themselves all weekend.
We want to congratulate Emma Hachey and Leah Davis for qualifying for their first regional championships – way to go girls!

Ribbons were awarded for 1st to 8th , and we want to highlight the following swimmers who finished on the podium in their respective age groups, which were: 10 and Under // 11 years // 12 years // 13 years // 14 years // 15 and Older

We had a great first meet and it could not have happened without all of the family support. It is you who bring our swimmers to the pool to compete for us, so a big thank you to all who supported our athletes all weekend long. ROCS ROCK!
