During the month of November, four members of our team organized a toy and food drive in conjunction with The Beat 94.5’s annual toy and food drive called The Beat Cares.  Samantha Gosel, Nicole Welsh, Eva Ryder and Mackenzie McCord set up donation boxes on the pool deck at Watermania and challenged their team mates to give back. 

During the month donations came in and on December 11th at 6 AM before school,  Nicole, Mac & Sam made their way to the downtown Costco next to GM Place to deliver the toys and food donated by members of our club.  The morning show hosts were so impressed with these young ladies that they even invited them to give some shout outs to their team mates and coaches live on the radio!

Congratulations to Eva, Nicole, Mackenzie & Samantha for a job well done, representing the Rapids so well and to all those that donated to the cause.
