Due to a Artistic Swimming event at Watermania, practices for Friday April 19th and Saturday, April 20th are cancelled.

Out of an abundance of caution due to the expected freezing temperatures this evening, poor road conditions, and potential traffic delays, we are cancelling practices for tonight at both Watermania and Minoru pools. We expect to have regular practice on Thursday afternoon. If anything changes, we will email everyone and post an update to our Instagram page.

Congratulations to Samuel Pei in the National group who has been invited to participate in Swimming Canada's inaugrual virtual distance development camp beginning this week. You can find the 2020-2025 Provincial Championship Summary here You will see that the document outlines 3 levels of championship meets. They have been selected for this program based on their achievements for the past year and commitment to training and performance. LMR Champs Recap, by Morgan Mark On Feb 9-10, the Rapids hosted the 2019 LMR Championships at Watermania. 58 Rapids athletes from AGD1, AGD2, Senior Provincial, RD Blue, RD Black, PAG, NAG, Youth Competitive A and Youth Competitive B participated in the meet. LMR Championships consisted of two morning sessions (11&U Girls and 12&U Boys) and two afternoon sessions (12&O Girls and 13&O Boys) over Saturday and Sunday. Swim BC Age Group Championships Re-cap, by Vlad Volchkov This past weekend 35 Rapids athletes from the AGD, RD, PAG, NAG, and Senior Provincial groups competed at the Winter Age Group Championships in Vancouver. CDSC and Swim BC hosted the provincial level swim meet, previously known as the Tier I Championships.
