At the SFU LMR today, Melissa Quon (12) qualified for the BC AAA Championships in Victoria this March!
Melissa qualified in the 200 butterfly by swimming a gutsy 2:59.26. Taking it out strong Melissa's 100 split was faster than her personal best time in the 100 fly! With the AGD 2's cheering her on, Mel kept pushing through the pain and dropped 8 seconds off her best time to achieve the AAA cut by 1.3 seconds! Since the start of the season Melissa has dropped 26 seconds from her best time in this event!
