This past weekend in Delta at the Lower Mainland Regional Championships, our swimmers had many outstanding performances setting new personal best times, winning medals and achieving new BC provincial time standards.  Leading the way for the team were our PAG swimmers, Jessica Jones, Jaylene Berry, William Weng, Kelsey Shaw, Selina Zhou and Brian Leung.  All of whom placed in the top 3 for their age group in most of their events.  

Jeremy Fung, 9, had a very strong showing at the meet by placing either 1^st or 2^nd in the 11 & under age group in 4 of his 5 events!  Jeremy also dropped 10 seconds is his 400 FR (6:01.37) to qualify for the BC 10 & under Swim Stars Championships this June in Kelowna! Jeremy also qualified for BC AA Champs with that swim and his 200 BK .

Christopher Lam, 12, of RD 2 was fantastic all weekend placing in the top 8 in all his events, achieving many best times and medaling in 3 events!

Isabelle Sy, Sam Bhandal & Derek Wu were great all weekend too by going 100 % personal best times.   Special recognition should also go out to Eric Chyou, Ryan Murray, and Austin Berry who were all finalists throughout the weekend.  Congratulations to all the swimmers that raced at LMR Championships!
