Dekker shines at Western Canada Games

This past weekend at the Western Canada Games, the Rapids own Nicolaas Dekker capped off the summer with some outstanding perfomances. The competition provided some very fast swimming with a few competitors breaking provincial records and even a National age group record. Nic was one of 8 boys, 17 years old and younger to be selecetd to represent BC at the Games. Being one of the youngest competitors on the boys side, Nic was able to medal in each event he swam and also help his Team BC team mates earn the gold medal in the 200 Medley Relay.
