BC AAA Champs, Day 1
The Rapids AAA team was off to a strong start at this weekend's Long Course Provincial Championships. At the end of day one, the team was ranked second overall, showing that they were prepared to defend their home territory!
"Though there were some mistakes made in the morning swims, finals went really well," said Head Coach Rob Pettifer. "That's because our swimmers learned from those mistakes and used them to prepare for the next race. That made for success."
And lots of successes were had! The Rapids walked away with three individual medals and two relay medals.
Kevin Ye - Gold - 200 Breast
Cathy Ye - Silver - 100 Fly
Ryan Murray - Bronze - 200 Free

Our high overall performance was also due to our long list of finalists, which follows.
