St. Albert Sailfish Coaches

The St. Albert Sailfish Swim Club coaches are professionally trained to coach competitive swimming. All coaches are NCCP Level 1 Certified and have passed the Vulnerable Sector Check conducted by the RCMP.  

We are here to support your needs. If your questions are related to workouts, meets, events, goal setting, and other swimming related needs, please contact one of the coaches. For other inquiries related to the coaching staff, please contact the head coach. For all questions related to administrative, such as dues, safety, or policy issues, please contact one of the board members.

Message from Coach Glenn:

We are more than just a swim team. We are a collection of wonderfully unique individuals all pursuing excellence in our own way. An amazing thing happens when like-minded athletes chase the personal bests. Self-confidence grows. Work ethics are defined. Play and performance become synonymous. Dives change.   

The St. Albert Sailfish are 23 time regional champions. This is something that came from the individual commitment of our swimmers supported by kind, caring parents. But, any 'win' is insignificant when compared to the foundational steps necessary to get there. First step: embrace the fact that each participant is an athlete and all that entails. Second step: acquire and track the skills necessary to become a competitive swimmer. Third step: test those skills under the unbiased eye of a stopwatch.

One of the great things about being on the St. Albert Sailfish is that everyone wants to stay year after year.  Success is infectious. Part of that success is due to those amazing coaches who keep coming back year after year.
