Fundraising
Requirements
Bingos, Casino (non-casino years will have a replacement fundraising activity assigned), and supporting the Swim Meet are the only required fundraising categories. All commitments must be signed up for by June 13th or your athlete(s) will not be able to participate until you have signed up.
Failure to complete the commitment that you signed up for will result in a financial penalty of $200 per infraction that will be charged to the credit card on file. Payment arrangements must be made before your child(ren) can return to the pool. Any outstanding amounts will be added to the next season’s registration fee for the swimmer. Should you miss more than one commitment, the Board of Directors may suspend/expel the family membership.
Bingos
Bingo commitments for the current season must be completed by March 30th, 2026. Every athlete is responsible for 3 bingo shifts per season, max of 6 shifts per family. See the team Calendar for all the current Bingos and their respective sign-ups.
Bingo Signup Rules
- Bingo workers must be at least 18 years old, mobile, fluent in English, and able to complete bingo tasks.
- The Game sellers: $1, $2, and pull tickets (Balls) positions are responsible for sales on the floor, and do not require any previous experience.
- The Cage Positions: Chairperson, Paymaster, and Special Games coordinator require training and previous experience. Training shift will count as one bingo.
- The bingo coordinator may change workers’ jobs as needed to meet the requirements of the evening.
- Family and friends may work shifts for you as long as they meet the requirements. When signing up put their name in the notes.
- The deadline for bingo sign-up is May 30th. Once the signup deadline has passed, you are responsible for ensuring that your shift is filled if you can no longer make it. Please contact the bingo coordinator for a list of Bingo Angels that can be called to fill your spot.
- To comply with bingo hall regulations, only one person may fill each bingo shift. Split shifts are not allowed.
- Please be on time! Arrive at the bingo hall and ready to work when your shift starts. Punctuality is important because it takes time to organize all bodies into their correct placements before customer sales begin. The club will be penalized financially if we are late. If you are running late please contact the bingo coordinator or the chairperson for the evening so they are aware.
- When you arrive at the bingo hall, sign in on the sheet provided. At that time, you can also sign up for one break.
- Evening bingo shifts run from 4:45 p.m./5:00 p.m. until approx 10:00 p.m.
- Daytime shifts run from 10:45 a.m./11:00 a.m. until approx 4:00 p.m.

At minimum 1 adult per family is expected to take the training to be an official and volunteer at at least 50% of the meets your swimmers attend.
Additional Notes
For extenuating circumstances, you may discuss with the Executive about “buy-out options” for your commitments. This will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We need people to work the shifts and therefore only extenuating circumstances will be considered. Buy-out of Bingo commitment is $125 per Bingo and must be done before the commitment deadline of June 13, 2025. Failure to complete any of the above commitments will result in a financial penalty of $200 per missed commitment. Any outstanding amounts at the end of the season will be added to the next season’s registration fee for the swimmer.
Active members of the board of directors will be exempt from Bingo, Casino and Swim Meets Food commitments as long as we have enough athletes registered to fill all the spots. Should we have more spots than athletes registered, they will be filled by the board of directors members before hiring Bingo Angels or other people to fill the roles.
