Hello Parents and athletes, my name is Jan Wahlen.  

I have been teaching grade 4 at Millgrove School in Spruce Grove for the past 6 years where I also help run the athletic program.  I have been coaching swimming for 26 years now both as a winter club coach and a summer coach and have NCCP level 301 coaching credentials.  I started swimming when I was 5 in the Okanagan as a summer club kid and moved on to winter swimming when I was a teanager ending up on the University of Victoria varsity team.  I have been to nationals and both as a swimmer and as a coach and love the sport of swimming as it has given me a lot of opportunities.  I am aso a certified Soccer, X-country ski and Archery coach.  

I am looking forward to the upcoming season and look forward to not only being a Barracuda coach but a Barracuda parent as well, my 6 year old daughter in now a member of the club.  Have a great season, I look forward to seeing everyone at the meets this summer.

Hi everyone! My name is Jessica Good. I have been swimming with the team since 2009 at the age of 5, and started coaching in 2019.

I am very excited to be swimming with the team once again with the Masters program!

This fall I will be going into my third year at the University of Alberta, working towards my bachelor of Elementary Education. I love swimming and anything to do in or around water, and I am very passionate about coaching and helping kids learn. I look forward to seeing you all on deck, and I hope you have a great season!
