Bingo Fundraising

Hi VEW Parents,

I am writing to bring forward the importance of our club members participating in the Bingo fundraisers. Fundraising plays a vital role in supporting our team’s activities and ensuring that our swimmers have access to the resources they need to excel at their sport. It is more than just a means to meet our financial needs; it’s also an opportunity for us to come together to achieve our goals and provide our swimmers with the best possible experience.

By participating in the Bingo fundraisers, we are engaging with our local community and building connections with our residents. We are not only raising funds for our Club, we are also raising awareness about our team and the positive impact that sports have on our children.

The Bingo fundraisers are the club’s biggest income. By participating in 2-3 Bingo sessions per month (a total of 4-6 parents), our club is raising approximately $1,500 during that month. The money raised by participating in the Bingo sessions, helps us cover various expenses throughout the season. These include pool rental fees, coaching staff wages and the purchase of equipment. By taking part in the Bingo sessions, we are keeping our registration fees lower, which makes it more affordable for everyone to participate.

We are always looking for volunteers to attend our Bingo sessions, which are held at Delta Bingo in Val Caron. Each session is 2 hours and 15 minutes of time. The available dates can be found under Team Events on the Go-Motion App. All families are required to participate in at least one Bingo session per season.
