Team Hike on Thursday
Thursday is the VHS Boys Water Polo last "home" game of the season. As an alternative to pool practice, we will take a Family Hike / Walk.
In addition to swimmers, all families members are welcome to join us. To join the hike . . .
- 4:30: Meet at the Quarter Horse Drive Trailhead in Yorba Linda.
- From Placentia, take Yorba Linda Blvd into Yorba Linda
- Turn left (North) onto Fairmont Blvd
- After you pass Bastanchury Rd, on your 3rd left, turn left onto Quarter Horse Drive.
- Drive up, Trailhead / Parking Lot will be on your right.
- Swimmers will be back in the parking lot approximately 6:15 PM.
For Swimmers in Challenge Groups, participation counts towards your practice requirement.
OC ABC Swim Meet Hosted by Riptide - November 8-9.
Entries are due TODAY. This meet is for all levels of swimmers. Meet will be held at Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach.
This is the first meet to earn Swim Meet points in the Winter Incentive Program.

Our annual Winter Incentive Program will start on Monday, November 3rd.
During the winter months, our swimmers are faced with challenges unique to this time of the year. In an attempt to encourage and reward those swimmers who stay committed during the winter months, the team is offering our Winter Incentive Program again this year. In the program, swimmers who achieve the goals of the program win team prizes. Last year . . .
- 13 Swimmers went on a team trip to California Adventures at Disneyland
- 9 Swimmers went on a team trip to Magic Mountain
- 9 Swimmers earned free passes to Wild Rivers
- 22 Swimmers earned a team travel to Arizona Swim Meet
More details about the program will come out soon. However, it is important to note, that except for 8 & Unders, only swimmers that are Full Time have a chance to earn the prize.
Hot Chocolate Thursdays Are Coming Back in 2 weeks
We are bringing back our "Hot Chocolate Thursdays starting on Thursday, November 6th. Each Thursday, we will offer free Hot Chocolate to the swimmers after their practice. Hot Chocolate Thursdays will be offered every Thursday, through January.
