Adult/Child lesson: If you have a child ages 1-3 and are looking to kick start water safety while being in the water alongside them-this would be the best class. A trained instructor will provide direction on an introduction to the water. Here the basic skills such as: getting wet (sitting on the side of the pool parent and child will get water on each other’s bodies by playing with toys), water entry, pool exploration, floating, kicking, blowing bubbles, underwater exploration (getting nose, eyes, or head wet), and exit of water are introduced. A swim diaper is required if child is not out of diapers. (30 minute sessions)
Private lessons: If you are new to the sport, an individual with special needs, or a child that struggles in the group setting this class would be best for you. Private lessons can be extremely beneficial for those who need individual attention to help advance their swimming development. Private lessons are also offered to swimmers on all levels on the swim team. Here instructors will adapt lesson curriculum based on the need of the individual swimmer. (30 minute sessions)
