2020 Age Group Select Camp

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Swimmers

Swimmers will participate in water activities consisting of stroke drills, technique instruction and skill development led by experienced Colorado coaches.  There will be 'team meetings' covering topics ranging from goal setting to the history of Swimming.  Swimmers will also hear from experts on sports nutrition and mental training in addition to college athletes.  Lunch, beverages and snacks will be provided for the athletes during the camp.  Swimmers will also receive camp shirts, caps and prizes in addition to a fun activity at the end of the camp.  

Parents

Parents should plan on spending the day hearing from speakers on a variety of topics pertinent to your swimmer's career including sports nutrition, college athletes and coaches in addition to sport psychology and mental training techniques.  There will be a break given for lunch which will be on your own.  After the parent seminar has concluded, parents are welcome into the stands to observe the remainder of their swimmer's camp experience.
