New Senior Group Coach

Good afternoon,

I recently hired a new assistant coach who will primarily be working with the Senior 3 and Senior 5 groups.  MACS' membership has increased by 20-30 swimmers in the past few years and we are now able to hire a coach to work exclusively with our Senior groups again.   I have enjoyed working with the senior swimmers the past four years and look forward to seeing them continue to improve and achieve goals with the team.  I will be working closely with the new coach to ensure a smooth transition.

I am excited to introduce Andy Levine as the newest member of our coaching staff.  Andy is a middle school English teacher and the head coach of the Legend High School girls' team.  He has also coached for the Colorado Athletic Club (CAC) and for the Swim Dogs.  

Andy is a former swimmer and has competed in Iron Man triathlons .  He has a strong passion for the sport and will be enthusiastic and encouraging with the swimmers.  Andy will officially start on November 1st, but will be around a few times prior to that to help me work with the group.  Please feel free to come by next week to introduce yourself and meet Andy.
