Help is Needed for Our January MACS Meet – Sign Up Today!
Our Winter Invite is almost a week away, and we need for all MACS families to sign up ASAP to help with many tasks needed to make our meet a success. Please keep in mind that MACS hosts meets as a moneymaker for the team, which helps keep our monthly dues at a reasonable level, so please offer to help with one or more of the following needs:
· - Volunteers are needed for both morning and afternoon sessions to help as timers, runners, working concessions, and selling raffle tickets. Please contact Teresa Brandon if you can volunteer: [email protected]
· - Large coolers are needed. Please bring them to Pier Point by Thursday, January 6 and be sure to label them with your family’s last name.
· - MACS needs to feed 40 coaches and officials on Saturday and Sunday. The following items are still needed. Please contact Susan Bobka at [email protected] if you can donate food:
Fruit salad or large fruit tray for both mornings (Need by 6:30 am or Friday night)
Muffins for both days (Need by 6:30 am or Friday Night)
Juice for both days (Need by 6:30 am or Friday Night)
Corn chips and salsa for Saturday lunch
Large Container of trail mix and nuts and other grab and go snacks
Garlic bread for Sunday lunch (will need 6 loaves)
Green leaf salad and dressing for Saturday and Sunday lunch
Cookies for timers
New Date for the January TOPS Meet
Please note that TOPS has changed the date of their January meet to January 28-30. Meet entries are due January 5. This meet has qualifying times, so please check the meet information on the MACS website.
MACS Food Drive
Our food drive box at Pier Point is looking pretty empty. We will be collecting food items through the first week in January, so please donate if you can.
Two MACS Raffles Underway Soon
MACS will be doing two raffles. See details below. The raffles will be a moneymaker for the team and help with fundraising obligations, so please participate! More details soon!
· - The MACS Winter Invite raffle will have $2 tickets. Tickets will be sold by the person selling programs at the meet. Half of the sales will go to the team, and half will go to raffle winners.
· - To help families meet fundraising obligations, our second raffle will have tickets prices at $10 each. There will be 20 winners in this raffle. SCRIP Orders Placed January 13 and 27
