It’s Time for the MACS Year-End Pool Party
Please take a look at the attached flyer with all of the details about the MACS cookout/potluck/pool party on July 25.  We need your reservations ASAP.  Our apologies for getting this info out to everyone so late.

Coupons have arrived!  To take advantage of our coupon offerings please visit:   www.imagetekphoto.com/teamsport.   Look to upper right tabs, "Coupons.” We need your help to ensure picture day is timely, successful, and fun!

- Attached is a PDF copy of the picture order form. Please print from your computer and bring to picture day. A PDF of sample products is also attached.
 - Arrive 15 minutes early to your scheduled time with order form complete and payment in hand. (checks, cash, CC) Tardy arrivals will compromise our ability to service subsequent teams on time.
 -  Check the weather.  If we anticipate wind, bring a hair tie or choose a hairstyle that "works" best in the wind.  
 -  Use a small amount of lip balm to avoid cracked lip photos.
 -  Sunscreen.  If possible try to avoid overdoing the sunscreen on faces before photos, we want to avoid the children looking too glossy.
 -  Team Photos.  Try to avoid attracting attention to yourself by yelling to the kids while the team shot is taken.  Too often the kids will 'look away" while we are taking the team shot when this happens.  
 - Cameras.  Please no cameras within 20 feet of the photo area.  Kids will often get confused as to whom they need to look at while the photographer is working.  Also, our camera flashes will misfire  as  they can be activated by external flashes firing simultaneously.

Congratulations to Our Newest Qualifier for the Olympic Trials!
John Martens qualified to swim the mile at the 2012 Olympic Trials with a terrific swim at our recent meet in Fort Collins.  John will now join Bonnie in representing MACS at the trials, which will be held in Omaha on June 25 to July 2.

MACS Swimmer’s Edge Clinic Scheduled for August 6 at Pier Point
Know any swimmers who would like a chance to meet our coaches and see what year-round swimming is like?  MACS will be holding a clinic for non-MACS swimmers on Saturday, August 6 from 9 to 11 at Pier Point.  The fees for the clinic are $25.  This is a great opportunity to introduce new swimmers to MACS.  Catherine, Gregory, and Andy L. will work with swimmers on all four strokes and turns.  There will be a parent information session at 10 a.m. Click here for more information.

New Swimmer Registration Set for September 8 at Eaglecrest
Swimmers who will be new to MACS this fall should plan to attend placement night at Eaglecrest on September 8 at 5:30 p.m.  MACS is very interested in growing our team, so please help us get the word out.  Anyone who refers a new swimmer to MACS, who is not transferring from another USA Swimming club, will receive one month of fundraising credit.
