MACS Winter Invitational Swim Meet
The MACS Winter Invitational Swim Meet is scheduled for January 5-6, 2013. While this meet is not quite as large as the Fall meet, it requires many volunteers to make it a success. Planning is already well underway - the meet volunteer sign up sheet is now available. In typical MACS fashion, we appreciate your willingness to help and allow the team to host a successful event for our swimmers. Click here for a detailed description of meet volunteer jobs.
The meet will be held in three sessions (like the Fall Meet). Timers will be scheduled for each session. Other volunteers will be scheduled for the morning (sessions 1/2 and 4/5) and afternoon (sessions 3 and 6). Please contact Susan Bobka at [email protected]or 720-289-2156 with any questions.

In the coming months, MACS must train additional USA Swimming Officials. This is a critical role in our meets. The team will provide training and no previous swimming experience is required... just a willingness to learn. Ideally, MACS will have enough trained officials limit the volunteer shifts and provide regular breaks during meets. Please contact Larry Malik at [email protected]for more information.
Meet Registration Reminder
Registration deadlines for the Suburban League Distance Meet and MACS Winter Invitational Meet are fast approaching. Talk to your coach if you are unsure about what events to swim. ALL SWIMMERS NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE MACS WINTER MEET.

SCRIP Orders Due
SCRIP orders are due on Thursday, December 6th and again on December 13th. As a reminder, all checks for SCRIP orders must be from a MACS family. If you are ordering for family and friends, please write one check (from you) and have your friends/family pay you directly.
Now is the time to use SCRIP as you plan your holiday shopping. The attached flyer has information about the program and sample fundraising credits.
