SCRIP Reminder

SCRIP orders are due on Thursday, February 7th and again on January 21st. Click here to download the order form: excel spreadsheet or pdf document. 

Now is a great time to purchase gift cards through the SCRIP program if you are planning to travel to the Loveland Meet. The program is easy... try using your King Sooper card for fuel, a hotel card for lodging, and one of the many national restaurant cards for dining. Order now to get your cards next week.

So far, the team has earned $2,200 through the King Soopers Card Program. This is an easy way to fundraise and meet (or even exceed) your monthly fundraising requirements. King Soopers has updated the program and will NOT offer credit for third party gift card purchases. Grocery and Fuel purchases will continue to earn 5%.

We are need of a few volunteers to become USA Swimming Officials. MACS is required to provide officials and we do not have enough trained people at the present time. No prior swimming experience is necessary and training is provided. Please consider helping with this important role and join our great team of MACS Officials. Midwestern All-Star Championships

Last month, Jenna Newkirk (10 and under girls) and Jonah Saya (13-14 Boys) were selected to the 2013 Colorado All-Star team that competed in Lawrence, Kansas for Team Colorado at the Midwestern All-Star Championships.  Olivia Brenneman (10 and under girls) was selected as an alternate.  This is a huge accomplishment for these swimmers as only 10 swimmers from the entire state are chosen in each sex and age group.  Congratulations!!  Great job representing MACS and the State of Colorado!

Catherine was also selected as one of 5 Colorado coaches to coach the Colorado team in Kansas and coached the 13-14 year old boys. Thank you for all your hard work!
