Summer Sched update and PP Info

Good morning.

Just a few updates for you.

**We begin our summer practice schedule on Monday, June 3rd.

** Groups 3 and 4 will not have practice on Tuesday as the majority of you are still in school and will not be able to make a morning practice.

**There will be no practice for groups 2,3,4, or SR on Friday June 7th as we have the NJ meet.

**Pier Point info: the locker room will get packed with stuff so it is a good idea for the younger swimmers to put your clothes in your swim bags and put the bags on the deck so your stuff does not get misplaced or strewn about the locker room.  Also, if everyone picks up after themselves it will make things easier.  We do not have a cleaning service and have a family who volunteers to clean so lets make their job bearable!

** While at Pier Point parents/families are welcome to sit in the club house and use the TV or wifi.  Coaches can give you the wifi code.  You may also sit out front on the lawn.  You may not sit inside the fence in the pool area.  Only USA registered coaches and swimmers may be on the deck or in the pool area during practices.  We do not have a bleacher section at Pier Point for spectators and we need a clear deck for the swimmers and coaches to have the best teaching situation ....as well as having people on deck being an  insurance no no :) .  You are welcome to come in at the beginnning or end of practice with questions if you need to but please be sure to do this prior to the start or at the end of workout so we can get the kids in on time and be focused on them.

**Weather....coaches show up regardless of weather since it often changes within the course of the practice time.  Sometimes we end up cancelling the whole workout once we are there if it doesn't clear, but a lot of the time we end up swimming at least part of practice especially when it is a 2 hour workout.  If it is something intense like a tornado warning and we cannot get there we will e-mail but fortunately that has not happened during practice in a long time.

That should be it for now.  We are looking forward to a great summer and excited to be outside!!

Have a great end to the school year,

MACS Coaching Staff
