MACS Suburban League Meet on June 15th
We are hosting a small meet next weekend at Pier Point Pool. We will need help organizing and running this meet - watch for more details early next week.
It doesn’t look like will be using a timing system for the meet so we will need volunteers to help time. The Sectional swimmers will be helping out after morning practice but that will not be enough.
Help will be needed in the following area:
- Set up/clean up
- Timing
- Officials
- Concessions
- Food Donations
This is a great meet for our youngest/newest swimmers and an enjoyable time for everyone who has attended in the past. Thank you in advance for your help!
MACS Summer Party and Team Photo

Save the date for the MACS Team Photo and picnic at Del Mar Pool. Details will be announced soon including sign up sheets to help with the event. Go MACS!
Volunteer Needs
MACS is in need of additional parents to take on various volunteer roles with the team including open board positions. If you are interested in helping the team, please contact Stuart Urban or Lisa Bradford.
Opportunities to help including fundraising, swimming officials, meet planning, event organizing, facility improvements, and more are all organized and led by parent volunteers. This is a fun way to support your swimmer and meet other parents on the team. If you are only able to help a small amount, consider partnering with another parent volunteer to help.
Board meetings are typically held on the second Wednesday of each month at Pier Point. All parents are welcome to attend.
SCRIP/King Soopers
The team will receive its final payment of the season from King Soopers in the next few weeks. DON’T STOP USING YOUR TEAM KING SOOPERS CARD!!! After this date, all additions to your card will count towards next season’s fundraising requirements. This has been a great fundraising too for MACS families and will be a great way to get a jump on next season! Contact Mary Lou Waite at [email protected]with any questions!
