General Fundraising Information
Fundraising is extremely important for the growth and future of the Northern Colorado Swim Club (NOCO). NOCO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and affiliated with USA Swimming. As such, charitable donations may be tax deductible (consult a professional to see if your donations qualify).
While our club name may be Northern Colorado, we are not directly affiliated with the The University of Northern Colorado. NOCO is an independent organization and provides services to athletes from many communities and/or school districts. Therefore donating to NOCO will reach more communities in the Northern Colorado and surrounding area.
It is important to understand that NOCO is more than a competitive swim team. Our primary goal is highlighted by our mission statement:
Northern Colorado Swim Club, using the sport of swimming as a conduit, will facilitate an environment which will empower athletes to develop confidence, competence, connection, character, caring, and contribution to the team and the community.
And so, by sponsoring the Northern Colorado Swim Club you are sponsoring an organization that prides itself in producing athletes who not only learn the importance of hard work, determination and the understanding that results are based on their efforts, but who also make great friends and memories that will last a lifetime. At NOCO, we are proud of what we have to offer, not just to the swimming community, but our surrounding community as well.
