How to Enter a Swim Meet

At the beginning of each season, the full meet schedule will be emailed and posted on the website under “Events”.  Please mark all of the meets on your calendar as the expectation is that Castle ROCK Swimmers will attend as many meets possible and the highest level of competition they qualify for.

When a meet’s sign-up becomes available, an email will be sent with a link to sign-up and the deadline for when the sign-up closes.  We encourage you to sign up as soon as you receive the email.  Changes can be made after you’ve signed up and you’ve reviewed the events with your swimmer up until the sign-up deadline.  However, you cannot sign up once the deadline has passed.

Detailed information on each meet along with the sign-up are posted on the website under "Events" [once you are logged-in there is a quick link on the homepage].

Follow these steps to sign your swimmer up for a meet:

  1. Sign In to your member account on the Castle ROCK Swim Team website [top right side of the homepage].
  2. Click the “Events” tab located on the homepage.
  3. Locate the meet you are signing up for.
  4. Select the pink “Edit Commitment” button connected to that meet.
  5. Click on your swimmer’s name and choose the option “Yes, please sign SWIMMER up for this event”.
  6. Please be sure to check the “Important Notes” section at the top of the page for additional instructions from their coach or specific events swimmers should sign-up for per their group coach.
  7. From there you will see all events available to your swimmer with a check box next to each one.
    1. Note: be sure to sign your swimmer up for the events in their appropriate age group.
    2. ‘Open’ events indicate NO age group for that particular event; however, it’s mostly older athletes 15 & above.  Please do NOT sign-up a younger swimmer in an ‘Open’ event unless you’ve previously spoken to their coach.
  8. To view the maximum event entry limitations for that meet, click the “Maximum Event Entry Limitations » View” button located above the event options.
  9. Click the events you would like to enter and then click “Save Changes” on the bottom right of the page.

 

You are now signed up for this meet!

Changes can be made to meet events up until the sign-up deadline.
