Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut

The mission of the Regional YMCA of Western CT (RYWC) competitive swim team is to promote character development and personal excellence through competitive swimming at the novice, intermediate and advanced levels. As well as providing a safe and supportive environment for all childern.

Our vision pushes us to become a nationally recognized program while emerging as a leader in aquatics by uniting various levels of swimming in the local community and throughout the state of Connecticut. As a leader in our sport we will encourage participation and the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the sport of swimming and encompass the ideals of the four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.

Disclaimer: RYWC grants the privilege of membership to individuals committed to our mission. The privilege of membership may, therefore, be withdrawn or denied at the discretion of the RYWC at any time where the RYWC determines that a member or prospective member’s conduct is inconsistent with the mission of the organization or the best interest of the sport and those who participate.

Registration for the 2025-2026 Short Course Season will begin on August 25th

All new swimmers must complete a free evaluation prior to registration on any of the following days:

8/19 - 6:00pm

8/20 - 6:00pm

8/21 - 6:00pm

8/27 - 6:00pm

8/28 - 6:00pm

All evaluations will be held at the Outdoor Pool at the Greenknoll YMCA

All team participants must be a member of the Regional YMCA of Western CT.

New & Returning Swimmers are required to hand in ALL REGISTRATION FORMS!
