The Brunssum Orcas International Swim Team is a member of the European Forces Swim League (EFSL). We hold two seasons: the Fall Competitive Season (mid-August to end-February) and the Spring Season that focuses on swim technique training (mid-March to mid-June).
For the 2024-2025 season, we are represented by families of 17 different nations from six area military installations or activities. All children ages 6-19 of military personnel, government civilian, and contractor supporting the NATO missions at NATO Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, Geilenkirchen Airbase, USAG BENELUX Brunssum, students at AFNORTH International School, etc. are eligible. By EFSL rules, the Orcas may also invite a limited percentage of host country swimmers who are not otherwise eligible. Please call or email an Executive Board member if you have questions about eligibility.
