Swim meets require a lot of help to run smoothly and efficiently which is why swim teams rely heavily on the wonderful parent volunteers. In addition to the various committee positions, it also takes approximately 37 volunteers to run an average sized swim meet.
Every family pays a 200€ volunteer deposit at the beginning of the season and is responsible for volunteering 30 hours during the season for one swimmer. Families with mulitiple swimmers are asked to volunteer 45 hours over the course of the season. Once your families volunteer hours are completed, your deposit will be returned to you, no later than the end of the Fall Competitive Season.
