Norwin Aqua Club - Neil Jones

Norwin Aqua Clubs Neil Jones passed away this morning after a short illness. The AMS community will be a little lonelier this coming season. Below is a note from Neils wonderful friend Dan Prager.

It is with great sadness that this post is made.  This morning, one of our own went home to the Lord.  

 

Coach Neil Jones of Norwin Aqua Club passed away after a difficult but short battle with cancer.  There are few details at this time.  Please pray for the Jones family, the NAC family, and for all who knew and loved him.  Neil was known all around our LSC.  He coached many Zones teams and was a coach on all of the Tri-State-Cup teams to date. He has touched the careers of countless swimmers inside and outside his beloved NAC team.  He was everyone's walking rule book and always had the right answer for coaches and officials.  Neil was also the go to guy for medical issues on deck.  His years as a Life Flight EMT made him the guy everyone looked for if there was an injury at a meet. Neil passionately loved swimming and his presence will certainly be missed. Team Heaven has received a great swimming coach.
