Reno Swim Meet

Four members of the Fernley Aquatic Swim Team (FAST) competed at the Reno Swim Meet on Oct. 20-21 held at the Lombardi Pool at University Nevada Reno (UNR).

Here is a recap of how the Fast swimmers did at the Reno Swim Meet. The meet had 500 athletes attend from Nevada and California.

Jasmine (Jazz) Schaffer: 13 year old Jasmine has been working really hard and swimming some very fast races for the past few months. Jazz swam hard but did not have as much success at this meet.

Makenzie (Kenzie) Peek: 8 year old MaKenzie ended the meet with 3 new best times.

Jadan Rotton: 8 year old Jadan ended the meet with two new best times. He achieved a Sierra Nevada State Qualifying time in the 25 yd backstroke.

Cameron Peek: 13 year old Cameron ended the meet with two new best times.
