USA Swimming came to Fort Dodge in 2014 as we became a satelite program for the Ames Cyclones Aquatics Club.  The level of swimming quickly improved as swimmers placed higher at the High School and club level.  In 2022 after a great relationship of 8 years, it was decided it was time to create our own identity.  We have a great coaching staff who are dedicated to teaching swimming in a fun yet competitive environment.

It's the mission of Fort Dodge Area Swim Team to promote competitive swimming to the area youth in order to teach healthy lifestyle choices as well as goal setting, hard work and dedication to the task at hand.  It is our goal that these lessons will prepare our members to be more successful adults.
