AU SOME SHOWING FOR SLAC

This past weekend, over 60 SLACers and their families (including pets) made our annual trek to Auburn University and the 2026 Ralph Crocker Classic. We kicked things off with a delicious Italian team meal (thanks Moms) and some time spent together in the lobby and around the fire pit in the cold. No lack of energy before the meet started! On Friday, we got up and swam at the Opelika Sportsplex then off to Auburn's campus to watch the Gators dominate AU in the pool. Several swimmers picked up some AU gear at the University Bookstore then we prepared for competition that afternoon.

We had a great mix of newer athletes and experienced swimmers who ALL showed up ready to race. Finals were full of green helmets and best times were flying all over the place. Shout out to those who swam in the finals for the first time, embraced some tough events that they had never competed in, and the TEAM for getting behind the teammates and pushing each other to be at their best. By the time Sunday finals were over, we had accrued over 150 lifetime bests including FLAGs, Sr Champs, Sectionals, and Futures qualifying times.
