FGC and the Coronavirus (Covid-19) Statement

Good Afternoon MCDA Families,

Here is the latest update about the 2020 Junior Olympics and 2020 Senior Championships.

USA Swimming is enacting a 30-day moratorium on ALL hosted meets, clinics, camps. They are recommending the same action to all of USA Swimming members.

With that being said, Florida Gold Coast, the Coral Springs Swim Club and South Florida Aquatic Club have decided to postpone the 2020 Junior Olympics (March 13-15) as well as the 2020 Senior Championships (March 20-22). The Florida Gold Coast Board of Directors will discuss this situation further but at this time, we do not have set dates yet. 

Once more information is available, the FGC Board of Directors will notify all the FGC coaches.

As far as practices and swimming at Miami Country Day School I will let you all know as soon as that information is relayed to me.
