Supporting Noel During a Difficult Time
Dear Miami Country Day Aquatics Program Members and Families,
I hope this message finds you well. I'm writing to you today with some sad news concerning one of our invaluable members of the Aquatic’s community.
Many of you may have noticed Noel, one of our dedicated service workers, who has been a constant presence around the pool, cheering on our swimmers and polo players with genuine enthusiasm. Not only does Noel excel in his role here, but he also shows a deep interest in the well-being and progress of our student athletes. His daily check-ins and unwavering support contribute significantly to creating the positive environment we strive for in our all of our Aquatic’s programs.
Tragically, just a few weeks ago, Noel suffered the loss of his wife. As a single father now caring for twin 9-year-old daughters, we want to extend our support to him during this incredibly challenging time, just as he has supported us.
To assist Noel and his family, we are organizing a gesture of support that we hope will make a meaningful difference in their lives. We are planning to provide Noel with four months of pre-made meals to help ease the burden, especially considering he mentioned that cooking isn't his strong suit. The meal package we're looking into would offer him five meals a week, totaling 20 plates per week, at a cost of approximately $2,500.
If you would like to contribute to this effort and help support Noel and his family, your generosity would be greatly appreciated. Every little bit helps, and I know it would mean a lot to Noel during this difficult time. If you're interested in contributing, please email me directly, and I will provide you with further details.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to come together as a community and support one of our own. Let's show Noel and his family the strength of our Spartan family during their time of need.
Warm regards,
Eric Scheingoltz
