Solomon Calhoun Developmental Program

For the developmental program, swimmers are required to be able to swim one lap any style the length of the pool( 25 yards).  This is a pre-competitive program which emphasizes stroke instruction and learning the basic skills needed in order to become a competitive swimmer.  The program's focus is on proper stroke technique, starts, turns, finishes, and stretching

Fall Season September 2nd-October 23

Practice Times:

Ages 5 - 12 years old: Tuesday and Thursday  4:30 - 5:30 PM

Solomon Calhoun Community Center Pool located at 1300 Duval Street.

Cost: $150 with current USA Swimming membership.

Sibling discount: 2nd child -$120, 3rd child - $90, 4th child - $60

USA Swimming Flex membership 2025 fee: $30.00**

The USA Swimming Flex membership does not expire until end of 2021 and allows for 2 USA meets.  The fee can also can be put towards at full USA Swimming premium membership, if swimmers wishes to participate in more USA meets

 * If you paid a new USA Swimming membership fee for your swimmer in the 2020 Cyclones Summer program, they have a  current USA Swimming membership and do not need to pay $20. 

Registration includes team t-shirt and team swim cap

AGE GROUP SWIM TEAM​

The Age Group Cyclones are a Year-round Program, Swimmers 8-14 must be able to swim at least 25 yards in of 3 of the 4 competitive strokes in a recognizable fashion This group is competitive program that emphasizes stroke technique, training, and dedication in order to develop quality competitive swimmers. Swimmers in this group train on Monday through Friday from 4:30 pm- 6:30 pm. Hours of training are subject to change.

Cost $85 annual registration with USA Swimming or $35.00 annual USA Swimming Flex membership.  Flex membership is for swimmers new to the sport or seasonal.  Once swimmer has participated in 2 USA meets, an upgrade fee of $65 is applied.

$60.00 per month ( Payment options: credit cards and ACH payments using website account or checks.  Make credit payable to SAST.)

Sibling discount: $45 for 2nd swimmer, $30 for 3rd swimmer and any additional siblings.

RED Group Tuesday & Thursday 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

BLACK Group  Monday- Wednesday- Friday 4:30 pm-6:30 pm Saturday 9am-11am at Palencia

SILVER Group    AM  Monday -Wednesday - Friday   6:30 am -8:00 AM

                             PM Monday Through Friday 4:30 pm-6:30 pm

                             Saturday 9 am-11:30 am at Palencia

2026 SAST Cyclones High School Developmental Program

The Final Age Group is The High School/Senior Cyclones. This group is for swimmers ages 13-18 who want to continue swimming beyond the FHSAA High School swim season.

June 8 - July 24

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings:  6:30 AM - 8:00 AM

Swim program is designed specifically for  new and returning high school swimmers.  Focus is on stroke technique and preseason conditioning for 2021 high school season.  Practices are a combination of swim and dryland training.

Cost:

Florida Swimming  membership registration:  $97.00

$150 program fee
