How To Register For Year Round Age Group Swim Team:

Year-Round Age Group Swimmers 7 -17 years old must be able to swim at least 25 yards in of 3 of the 4 competitive strokes in a recognizable fashion This group is competitive program that emphasizes stroke technique, training, and dedication in order to develop quality competitive swimmers. Swimmers in this group train 4- 6 days a week.

Step 1:  Determine which location you would like to join by reviewing information found under the Solomon Calhoun and Palencia tabs.  You are welcome to visit both locations.

Step 2 : Arrange for an evaluation appointment by emailing location's coach.  Click on the link provided or type email address.

Step 3: Once your swimmer is assigned to a practice group by a coach, register online using “Palencia or Solomon Calhoun Registration button".  Complete all required fields and print Media Release and Waiver forms. Your registration will be approved within 48 hours.  You will receive instructions on how to access your account on the website.

How to Register For Developmental Swim Programs:

 

Registration for 2025 Spring Developmental Swim Program registration open

This is a pre-competitive program which emphasizes stroke instruction and learning the basic skills needed in order to become a competitive swimmer.  The program's focus is on proper stroke technique, starts, turns, finishes, and stretching.

Requirements: Swimmers ( 5 - 12 yrs old) are required to be able to swim one lap any style the length of the pool( 25 meters).

Practice Times:

Spring SESSION 2025

Calhoun - Starts    March 25 -  May 12
Ages 5 - 12 years old: Tuesday and Thursday  4:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Ages 5-12 years old: Tuesday and Thursday 3:30 pm  - 4:30 pm

Fees:

Cost: $150 with current USA Swimming membership.

Sibling discount: 2nd child -$120, 3rd child - $90, 4th child - $60

USA Swimming Flex membership 2025 fee: $35.00

(Palencia only fee: non-resident fee of $20 per family)

New swimmers need to schedule an evaluation prior to registering. Returning swimmers may register without an evaluation.

2024 SAST Cyclones High School Developmental Program

Solomon Calhoun-  June 4-July 26

Monday-Wednesday-Friday  6:30 am-8:00 am

Swim program is designed specifically for  new and returning high school swimmers.  Focus is on stroke technique and preseason conditioning for 2024 high school season.  Practices are a combination of swim and dryland training.

Cost:

Florida Swimming Premium membership registration:  $85.00

$150 program fee
