Membership Requirement

To participate in Sarasota Sharks Masters, all swimmers must be members of U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS).

Registration is quick and easy through the USMS membership page.
Be sure to designate “SHARK” as your club during registration.

Important: If you do not live in Sarasota, please contact us before registering for Sarasota Sharks Masters.

 

 

USMS Membership Cost & Benefits

USMS membership costs approximately $75 per year and includes:

  • Supplemental insurance

  • SWIMMER magazine

  • STREAMLINES e-newsletters

Please either print your membership card or download it to your phone—you’ll need it for meet registration and when visiting other pools.

Sarasota Sharks Masters Program Fees

We offer flexible membership options to meet your needs:

Ongoing Memberships

  • Monthly Membership: $105
    (based on a 12-month membership)

  • Annual Membership: $1,155
    (offered once per year, beginning October 1)

Seasonal Memberships (for visiting swimmers)

  • Seasonal (1 month): $126

  • Seasonal (2–6 months): $121 per month

Drop-In Option

  • $15 per swim for:

    • Visiting USMS members from other clubs

    • Local Sharks swimmers not on a monthly plan who practice less than once per week

To be a part of the Sarasota Sharks Masters, you must join U.S. Masters Swimming. You can register quickly and easily on the USMS membership page. Be sure to designate SHARK as your club. NOTE: If you don't live in Sarasota, please contact us prior to registering for the Sarasota Sharks Masters.

Either print a hard copy of your membership card or download it to your phone; you'll need it when registering for meets or traveling to other pools.

 

 

The Sarasota Sharks Masters offers several options: monthly, seasonal, and annual.

Regular monthly is $105 (based on a 12-month membership).

The annual membership option is $1155.  This is offered once a year, starting on October 1.

For our seasonal visitors, we have two options.

  • Seasonal (1 month) is $126.
  • Seasonal (2-6 months) is $121 per month.

There's a $15 daily drop-in fee for visiting USMS members from other clubs and local Sharks members who aren't paying the monthly club fee and practice less than once per week.

Visiting Swimmers (Drop-In Payment Information)

We welcome visiting swimmers! Visitors MUST contact us prior to arrival. 

To swim in our workouts, you must be a current member of U.S. Masters Swimming, pay a $15 drop-in fee, and sign a SARASOTA SHARKS WAIVER. 

Please do not show up expecting to swim if you haven’t contacted the coach in advance.

We encourage you to come and try us out before signing up. Email our Masters coach and let us know when you’ll be joining in. If you’re new to Masters swimming, we recommend reading the article series “Masters Swimming 101” on the USMS website.
