Patrick Toner Head Coach

Pat Toner holds a Master's degree in Administration, Supervision, and Curriculum and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Social Science. Pat was the Head Coach of swimming and water polo for 33 years of his teaching career in Miami Dade County and was named Coach of the Year several consecutive times by the Miami Herald. Pat coached his teams to numerous individual and state titles and had the privilege to coach national and world record holders.  He continues to utilize his coaching abilities with the TCA H2O Kats because of his passion for children and the sport of swimming.

Justin Correia Associate Head Coach

Coach Justin has been coaching competitive clubs since 1997. He is a level 4 ASCA (American Swim Coach Association) swim coach, a level only achieved by the top 15% of all American swim coaches. He has mentored and developed multiple swimmers of all levels in his career as a professional swim coach. He has dedicated his life to the sport of swimming and to Team USA.

Nathalie Scuderi Assistant Coach

Coach Scuderi has been swimming since she was 8 years old. She swam in college at Gallaudet University where she set team records in the 200, 500, 1000, and 1650 free. In 1993 she represented France at the World Games for the Deaf in Bulgaria. In 1997 she represented the USA at the Wold Games for the Deaf where she was part of 2 Gold medal relay teams and won a Bronze medal in the 400M Free.  Before beginning to raise her 4 wonderful children, she was a Pre-K/Kindergarten teacher in Washington DC. Her passion is to teach TCA swimmers the swimming skills they need successful at swimming while having fun!!

Itzuo Shamli Assistant Coach

Coach Itzsu has been a life long swimmer. He was a national swimmer for Bulgaria before he moved to the US in 2005. He has enjoyed coaching for the past 30 plus years and is excited to teach the next generation of swimmers. He also loves windsurfing.
