8 GCST swimmers post 12 new championship q-times at Friday Night at the Races Kyle Marshall made a new Sectional qualifying time in the 400 Free. Mariah Lundin swam a Senior Champs qualifying time in the 15 & 16 Girls 50 Free. Ro Almada swam new JO cuts in the 13 & 14 Girls 200 Free, and 200 Back. Savannah Bowser swam a new JO cut in the 11 & 12 Girls 50 Free. Courtney DeVeny swam new 13 & 14 Girls JO cuts in the 100 Breast, 400 IM, and 800 Free....
Michael Brent breaks 3 GCST Records The results are in and GCST swimmers had some good swims at Punta Gorda, FL in the Summer Series III meet on Saturday June 27, 2009. 17 GCST swimmers had All Best Times. Event winners are Flo Almada, Mike Brent, Kevin Ordaz, and Madison Riley. Flo Almada, Eric Ordaz, Zach Jamieson, and Ro Almada made new JO cuts at the meet. Madeline Willoughby, Madison Riley, and Blake Woodrow win high point awards....Madeline Willoughby, McKenzie Cassidy, and Greg Bowser break team records GCST won the 2009 SWF Neurosurgical Associates Summer Invitational with 1127 points to 2nd place Swim Florida with 938.5 points, and 3rd place Eagle Swim Association with 480 points. Madeline Willoughby (8 & under girls), Madison Riley (10 & under boys), and Blake Woodrow (11 & 12 boys) won age group high point trophies. Madeline Willoughby broke the GCST 8 & Under Girls 50 Breast record. McKenzie Cassidy broke the GCST 17-18 Girls 200 Breaststroke record....

A small group of GCST swimmers are competing in the FLA Senior Circuit Meet at the Ft. Lauderdale Aquatic Complex. Friday Night...Molly Dubrasky finished 2nd in the 200 Free (2:10.73), and 4th in the 100 Fly (1:07.00). Kyle Snew finished 3rd in the 400 IM (4:58.63). GCST had 19 swimmers attend the Summer Series I meet in Punta Gorda, FL on Saturday April 25th. The team had 9 swimmers win 18 events.
