Dekalb Aquatics Highlight Corner

14&Under Georgia State Championships

• Cash DeLoache took 1^st Place in the 50m freestyle for the 13-14 Boys Age Group
• Cash DeLoache took 1^st  Place in the 200m IM for the 13-14 Boys Age Group
• The 13-14 Boys “A” Relay took 1^st place in the 200m IM which included:  Alex Lin, Cash DeLoache, Sam Kim, and Alex Taylor. 
• Alex Taylor won the 13-14 Boys Age Group High Point Award 
• DAQ had 54 combined swimmers make it to 14 & Under State Championships for Short Course and Long Course Competition Seasons.

Senior Georgia State Championships

• The senior men’s team of Dekalb Aquatics which featured DJ Hughes, Devyn Hughes, Max Mitchell,  and Nigel Plummer took 1^st Place in the 200m Freestyle Relay. 

Age Southern Zone Championships

• Alex Taylor & Cash DeLoache earned a spot to represent The State of Georgia in the Southern Zone Champs this past summer. 
• Alex Taylor  took 1^st Place in the 200m IM for the 13-14 Boys Age Group
• Cash DeLoache took 2^nd Place in the 200m IM for the 13-14 Boys Age Group

Dekalb Aquatics All Star Highlights 

• DAQ had 27 New Georgia All Star Qualifier’s this past swim season. 
• DAQ had 4 New Junior National Qualifiers (Clarke Ruska, Max Mitchell, James Talley, and Devyn Hughes).
• Nigel Plummer Qualified for Senior Nationals as well as The Olympic Trials in the 50m Freestyle.
