Bre Abell - Head Age Group Coach [email protected]

My name is Coach Bre and I am super excited to be joining Hanford -TNT! I started my swim career when I was four years old. Competing on the Kingsburg Seawolves summer recreational league. When I was ten years old I decided swimming was the one sport I wanted to put all my passion into and joined TNT! I swam all the way up through my years as a Viking at the Kingsburg High School. My senior year of high school I was named D2 Champion in the 100 free with a 54.67, 200 free 1:55:33 and still apart of the current D2 record in the 400 free relay! I committed to swim at Fresno Pacific University for four amazing years once I graduated high school. I was apart of the highest ranking D2 NCAA Championship team Fresno Pacific has ever had (#4 at NCAA’s, best in school program history from all sports). My time as a collegiate athlete I faced many trials ranging from physical injuries to mental blocks. Throughout my ups and downs as an athlete I feel it has really shaped me into the coach that I am today.

Once graduating from Fresno Pacific with my Bachelors in Kinesiology: Exercise Science with a  double Minor in Coaching and Psychology; I decided to further develop my coaching abilities. I coached for TNT- Selma for three years, 2017-2019 and Kingsburg High for two seasons.  I was apart of the coaching staff at D2 Fresno Pacific University for two seasons in 2018-2019. I also had the great opportunity to then be apart of the D1 coaching staff at University of the Pacific in 2019-2020.

After the shutdown of the nation from Covid-19 I decided to come back home to my roots and build up the Central Valley communities. My heart and passion lies in coaching, where I strive to make positive impacts into athletes lives.
