Coach Jared began his USA Swimming national age group career under Texas Swimmming Hall of Fame Coach Johnnie Means and Dr. Thurman Robins (Harris County Aquatics Program). He completed his national age group career under Eddie Adams (Southeast Texas Aqua Racers). As a national age group swimmer he acheived state and national qualifications. As a high school student athlete he acheived TAPPS Scholar Athlete Awards and 8 xTAPPS All-State Honors in swimming . He recieved an academic and athletic scholarship to Salem International University where he earned NCAA Division II All-Conference Honors and Conference Championship Team Titles. He began his USA Swimming coaching career at Katy Aquatics (2005 -2009) and served as head coach at Blue Triangle Swim Team (2010 - 2016). From 2016 - 2021 he served as swim coach at Houston Christian High School, where he coached multiple SPC state finalists and medalists. For over 15 years Coach Jared has provided a competitive swimming base for many young swimmers. Athletes under his development have progressed to acheive junior national qualifications or earned scholarhsips to attend NCAA Division I or Divivison II universties.

Coach Jared holds a bachelors degree in Business Management and serves as a Texas Certified School Teacher. His swimming philosophy is " Technique and Intensity", "Quality over Quantity", and  "Train with a purpose".
