HIGH SCHOOL HIGHLIGHTS

HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE PRELIMS 

Well it’s that time of year again. It’s high school league finals all across Southern California. We have a few high school swimmers making moves in the Baseline league. First up we had Grace Thammagno swimming her prelim 50 freestyle going a 27.12 and dropping .36 from her entry time putting her 13th in the “B” final coming up tomorrow. Next up we have Ivy Vo going about her time with a 27.47 and taking 15th place making it back to the “B “final tomorrow. Next up we have Ivy Vo again taking 9th place and making it back to the “B” final with the time of 59.14 and Grace Thammagno swimming the 100 backstroke dropping 1.54 seconds going a 1:08.45 and coming back in the “A” final going in 4th place. Congrats on the solid finals, good luck in the relays and let’s see what they can do in league finals tomorrow. 

HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE FINALS

Our girls swam their finals on Thursday and they did pretty well in their respective events. First up we had both Grace Thammagno & Ivy Vo swimming the 50 Freestyle in the “B” final. Grace swam a 27.43 and took 15th place overall and Ivy swam a 27.17 dropping .30 and taking 14th place overall! Great swim ladies. Next up we had Ivy swimming her 100

Freestyle going a 58.52 dropping .62 and winning the “B” final! Amazing! Last up for the individuals is Grace and her favorite 100 backstroke. Grace went a 1:08.70 and took 4th place overall in the “A” final. Great work and good season ladies. Let’s get back in the pool and put in some work. Both girls were in relays I don’t generally mention in the high school setting however, they have potential to make CIF in their relays and I will let you know if they do.
