Hello: Due to the Armbruster 13 & Over Invitational (and a lack of avaialble coaching staff) we will not hold Kohawk Aquatics PM workouts on Friday (5/17) and AM workouts on Saturday (5/18). There will be AM workouts on Thursday & Friday for Senior & Pre-Senior swimmers from 5:50 to 7:20AM. Any AG 1, AG 2, or Pre-Senior athletes NOT racing in the meet that would like workout sets to do on their own time over the weekend can send Coach Don an email by 8PM on Friday!

We will hold our Parent & Swimmer Meetings for this season on Tuesday, April 30th for AG 1, AG 2, and Novice at (7:40PM) and the meeting for Senior & Pre-Senior groups on May 1st (7PM). These will be in shallow end pool deck at Coe College pool. These will take around 30 min. each. They will include time for both swimmers and athletes to ask questions about the club, our training plans, and upcoming swim meets. Swimmers and at least one parent should plan to attend.

Connor Schaffel and Lilly Adams represented Kohawk Aquatics at The Spring Speedo Central Zone Sectionals Championship Series recently in Iowa City (from March 7th to 10th). The meet was conducted in a 50 LCM format since 2024 is an Olympic Trials year. Teams from across the Central Zone, Texas, Arizona, and the New England LSC attended the event. Optional Kohawk Aquatics Practices for March 18th to March 29th These workouts will be focused on maintaining technical aspects and general overall fitness between our seasons. We will not be holding Wednesday nights, Saturday mornings, or any AM workouts until our spring / long course preseason practices officially start up in April. Our Kohawk Aquatics Senior & Pre-Senior level athletes posted some FAST times and a slew of new Personal Records this past weekend at the Wellmark YMCA pool in Des Moines at our LSC Short Course Championships.
