The Mason City Swim Club offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of MCSC to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing swimmers to the best of THEIR abilities.

Please call us at 319-939-7991  or email [email protected] to schedule a trial period, or contact MCSC to send us an email request for more information.

The Mason City Swim Club offers various swim groups to fit all levels of swimmer ability.  Please use the information below, with the help of the coaching staff, to decide what group your swimmer would best fit.  You will also find required equipment your swimmer may need for each group.

When speaking of swim suits; It is recommended that girls wear a tighter fitting one piece (or workout style two piece) suit. Boys should be in a brief (Speedo), drag suit, or jammer - swimming trunks will suffice for swimmers during a try out period. Once committing to MCSC, it is highly suggested that swimmers use one of the suits types listed above.  Swim trunks are baggy, have pockets, and negatively effect the swimmer's position when going through the water.

Fees for Mason City Swim Club are broken down into two seasons.  The winter season runs from September to mid February. The spring/summer season runs from April through the end of July.  We offer multiple member discounts for families.  For families with two swimmers, we offer a 10% discount.  For families with three or more swimmers, we offer a 15% discount.

Every swimmer needs to be a member of USA Swimming.  This membership also provides member insurance through USA Swimming.  New swimmers will need to purchase this at the time registration, and renewing members pay this fee at the beginning of the winter season in September.

New swimmers wanting to try out North Iowa Splash, can join us for one of our Try 'Us' Out Camps to see if joining the club is something they are interested in.  We offer Try 'Us' Out Camp at the beginning of each season (Sept ember & April) and may offer a separate camp during the season as well.  Feel free to contact us for details on the camps.

Members will sign up for MCSC through this website.  Payments for club dues will be made electronically with your debit card or credit card.  We offer a pay-in-full option or monthly fees. Monthly fees can be charged against your card or bank account though ACH. Your fees can be withdrawn automatically the first of each month, or manually by you on demand, after you sign up. Automatic payment is not required although it is highly recommended. Monthly dues are not prorated.
