ADMINISTATIVE OFFICIAL (AO) AND STROKE & TURN (ST)

REQUIREMENTS
NON-ATHLETE USA MEMBERSHIP - $75*
BACKGROUND CHECK - $38*
SAFE SPORT TRAINING - Free
AO - ATTEND AN ONLINE VIRTUAL CLASS ~ ST - ATTEND AN IN PERSON CLASS
AO - ONLINE OPEN BOOK 100 QUESTION TEST ~ ST - ONLINE OPEN BOOK 60 QUESTION TEST (PASS - 80% OR HIGHER)
APPRENTICE SESSIONS (vary depending on position)

*Reimbursement is available for those officials that are willing and able to work all RSC hosted swim meets. A max of 3 sessions for those meets that have multiple sessions. Must submit completed apprentice sheet or USA Deckpass to RSC Treasurer.

Required Uniform - White polo, shoes & socks with navy bottoms. - not reimbursed.

These classes are intended for anyone who is interested in becoming a stroke and turn official (You must attend
both days). The first day is an overview of USA Swimming, the second day is stroke and turn specific.
Individuals who are already stroke and turn officials need to attend just the second day to meet their
recertification requirements (required every 2 years).
