IOWA OFFICIALS CERTIFICATIONS & REGISTRATIONS
Assigned Referees will have access to OTS or the official's USA Swimming application for determining officials' certification and registration status at the time of the meet including Concussion Protocol Training. The excel file does not currently provide registration status - the referee has to either view the official's membership status on the USA Swimming application or the USA Swimming website. 
NOTE: As of March 18th, 2024, apprentices have to be either a current Apprentice Official member of USA Swimming (for new volunteers) or a non-athlete member in good standing (completed APT, BCG and CPT) in order to apprentice on deck.

Officials' Iowa LSC Certification Status as of October 15, 2025,

Meet Referees need to check each official's registration status in SWIMS. This can be done by going to the Officials tab on your SWIMS profile and selecting your OTS Meet. Once you have selected your meet, add your officials. This will list the status of the Officials' Registration, APT, BGC, and CPT. 

National Certifications should now be shown in SWIMS. 

Note: All of the dates and certifications listed in the above link were taken directly from USA Swimming's Official Tracking System. The names of those who have expired certifications are shown in red and the expired certification is also highlighted in RED. A column has been added for ST & AO Apprentice Officials. Please be aware of their registration status. If their 60-day free trial has expired, they must become a non-athlete member in order to proceed with the apprenticeship.
