EAST Drink Card Fundraiser — Checkout at Practice (Account Charged at Pickup)

Hi EAST families,

We’re kicking off our EAST Drink Card Fundraiser! Here’s exactly how to check out drink cards at practice and how the account charge works.

Where & When
• Checkout Location: At the pool, during regular practices. Parents, please come into the pool in the viewing area.
• Who: A parent/guardian 

What’s the Drink Card?
A Buy‑One‑Get‑One‑Free drink card valid once per participating shop, equal or lesser value. Exclusions vary by location and are set by each coffee shop.

How to Check Out Drink Cards (Step‑by‑Step)

Choose your quantity (start with 5–10 drink cards; bundles of 5 are recommended).
 

We’ll log it in our Google Sheet at the table: family name, swimmer, and quantity. There is no paper receipt.
 

Your EAST account is charged at checkout for the quantity you take (Qty × $15).
Example: 10 drink cards → $150 charged to your account.
 

Sell each drink card for $15. You keep the buyer’s payment to offset your account charge—no cash turn‑in needed.
 

Need more? Come back to the table during practice; we’ll update the Google Sheet and charge your account for the additional quantity.
 

Note: Treat drink cards like cash. Once you check them out, you’re responsible for them.

Returns, Lost Cards & Responsibility

-No paper receipts; the Google Sheet is our source of truth for quantities and charges.
-No returns of unsold drink cards. Please only take what you can sell during the fundraiser window.
-Lost or damaged drink cards can’t be replaced and remain your responsibility.

FAQs

Why charge my account at checkout?
It reduces cash handling and speeds up reconciliation. You keep what you collect from buyers to balance your charge.

Can I get more drink cards later?
Yes—stop by the table at practice and we’ll add them to the Google Sheet and charge your account for the new quantity.

How does redemption work for buyers?
Buyers present the drink card at a participating cafe to receive a free drink (equal or lesser value); exclusions are determined by each location.

How many do we have in total to sell?

We have 500 coffee cards to sell.

Will this go towards my fundraising obligation?

Yes, this will go towards the $200 dollar obligation.
