Iguanas Update- Gear Deadline Reminders and Upcoming

Happy and safe Thanksgiving!

  • The dedline for holiday delivery on hoodies and  extra t-shirts as well as winter hats, baseball hats and parkas is Monday Dec 1st (extended) ! To order the hoodie or t-shirt use this FORM .  For all other gear use the website Team Gear page and use the log in "iguana" (no s) and password "swimming".
  • Water polo for HIgh School ages begins 12/1 and for age groupers begins 12/6. If you are not currently on swim team then you must REGISTER HERE. Age groupers and high schoolers that are already enrolled as swimmers should email Coach Meredith at [email protected]. 

Regular practice schedule the week of 12/1 at Roosevelt:

  • Green group: M-W at 5:30-6:45P and Friday at 5:30-6:30P
  • Bronze 1 Group: M-W-Th- at 5:30-7P and Friday at 5:30-6:30P
  • Bronze 2 Group: M thru Thurs 5:30-7P and Friday 6:30-7:30P
  • Silver Group: Mon and Weds 5:30-6:30P Dryland, 6:45-8:15P swim. Tues and Thurs 5:30-7P swim, Fr 6:30-7:30P swim.

Upcoming: CWAC meet at UIC Dec 6th and 7th. Details including timelines and instructions for participants out later this week.

 Iguanas Greg Johnson Relays at Roosevelt. The meet is Saturday Dec 13th! Everyone please attend, team pic at Noon in school lobby down the hallway. We will need volunteer help from parents (click on"job signup" on the meet page)- 11 Unders tentative warm up at 9 AM, 12 Ups at 12:30 PM.

Reminder that we have a per-family vomunteer requirement of two sessions per season. While we appreciate the donations to the concessions stand that alone will not satisfy the requirement, as we need manpower to host meets. We would much rather have families learn the areas of meet operation and help the team than just apply a fine at end of season.
